On this stay, we were upgraded to a King suite, which was a real treat. The suite had a separate living area with a sofa, a coffee table, and a work desk. The bedroom had a king-sized bed with crisp white linens and a cozy duvet.
The suite had some interesting features, including a nice sitting nook with a lovely view of Old Montreal, which also doubled as a place to store luggage.
The living and work area was quite comfy with a large plush sofa and work desk.
The hotel has a rooftop pool that is open year-round, weather permitting. The pool area has a sun terrace with lounge chairs and umbrellas, and offers stunning views of Old Montreal and the river. The hotel also has a 24-hour fitness center with modern equipment, a yoga studio, and a sauna.
The Cartier Arms, the signature restaurant at Hyatt Centric Montreal, beautifully encapsulates the local history surrounding it. Perched upon the grounds of the historic Gare Viger, Canada’s first railway station, the restaurant pays homage to the turn-of-the-century golden age of the railroad. This culinary gem seamlessly intertwines Québec and British cultural influences, mirroring the cross-cultural tapestry woven by the railroad in times long past
