World Leaders – Part 3

On our third instalment of our landmark World Leaders series, we speak with Michael Vatikiotis, an Asian-based writer, journalist, and private diplomat who talks about Asia’s rising power as a result of their handling of COVID-19..

Vatikiotis was previously editor of the Far Eastern Economic Review and a correspondent for the Hong Kong-based news magazine for 16 years. He currently lives in Singapore and is the Asia Regional Director of the Centre for Humanitarian Dialogue, a Geneva-based private foundation that facilitates dialogue to resolve armed conflicts.
