Travel Rude

It is amazing how different peoples with different cultural norms and values see the world well differently. What’s polite and acceptable in one country may be rude or even offensive in another. One gesture designed to show affection could be an act of aggression. So it makes sense to bone up a little on the values, the habits and the accepted norms of behavior before visiting a new country.

We’re not saying that you have to take a Miss Manners course. Is that even still a thing? But we are saying take a few moments and look up a few key phrases, check dress codes, make sure you know which gestures are nice and which are rude and above all, do what your Mother told you, mind your Ps and Qs.
