Italy is undoubtedly a dream destination and one of the most beautiful places in the world. It’s a place where seasoned travelers will go back to time and time again thanks to beautiful attractions like The Basilica of St Francis of Assisi the stunning city of Florence and the leaning Tower of Pisa.
However, Italy is also a fantastic place to visit if you want to pick up an impressive souvenir or two. It sure beats the usual tat from the museum souvenir shops!
Wine
Wine might be more associated with the French part of Europe, but Italy certainly holds its weight in the fermented grape drink stakes, and you can bet that your friends and family back home will be delighted with a nice bottle of Brunello di Montalcino. This is made from some of the most unique grapes in Europe, so it’s pretty special.

Who doesn’t like olive oil? It tastes good and it’s good for your health (well according to many studies anyway. So, why not treat your nearest and dearest to a nice bottle of oil made by a small Italian producer,which will blow those store bought versions back home right out of the water.
Beautiful Balsmaic Vinegar
If olive oil isn’t to your taste, perhaps you and your friends back home would prefer a beautiful bottle of balsamic vinegar. The balsamic vinegar made in Italy is like nothing you’ll find at home, and although it’s expensive, it will spice up everything from pasta to salads, so it’s well worth the money.
A Beautiful Leather Bag
