The luxury of rail travel is best defined by the Eastern & Orient Express which travels through Southeast Asia in unparalleled sophistication and style. Stepping aboard the train is like a step back in time. The service is a little more refined, the clientele is a little more sophisticated, the dinning is a little more unhurried and the entire experience is a little more luxurious than we are used to these days.
We wanted to experience this romantic take on travel for ourselves and so recently our crews climbed aboard the train’s iconic green carriages for a journey from Singapore to Malaysia and Thailand. Here is a video diary of this magnificent experience.
