Hotel Check In: Park Hyatt Bangkok

Soaring high across the Bangkok skyline as part of the Central Embassy development in an iconic building, the Park Hyatt Bangkok establishes a new level of luxury and service in one of the world’s most competitive cities for upscale hotel accommodations.

The hotel features 222 rooms and 32 suites which blend an understated modern elegance with Thai sensibilities. The result is oversized tranquil spaces which are both liveable and luxurious. We had a Park Executive suite which was over 100 sq meters.

With a lovely open concept sitting area, dining room & work area and pantry, the space was not only large and inviting but also very functional and comfortable. Kudos for all of the power outlets and USB charging spots.

The flow from the living area to the bedroom was quite smart. The suite was open with clean lines but also allowed the bedroom, dressing area and bathroom to be shut off for entertaining. This was helped with the addition of a powder room at the entrance.

The bedroom featured an oversized king bed, another 55 inch TV and a generous closet, dressing room. The floor to ceiling windows from the living room continued throughout the bedroom.

The bathroom featured his and her sinks, a walk in rain shower and great lighting.

Of course the most important feature is oversized soaking tub which was perfect for relaxing after a long day touring Bangkok’s many sights.

The hotel has a 40 meter saltwater infinity pool on the 9th floor with epic views of the skyline. The lounges, cabanas and terraced gardens along with impeccable service made for a very relaxing afternoon.

The property has a large spa and fitness club and three dining areas. The Living Room is perfect for afternoon tea and hosts an evening reception for World of Hyatt Globalists, the Embassy Room offers all day dining and quite an extensive breakfast, while the Penthouse Bar + Grill flows over the hotel’s top three floors and hosts six venues; The Grill, Chef’s Table, The Cocktail Bar, Whisky Room, The Mezzanine, and Rooftop Terrace. The food and cocktails were excellent but the real attraction is the epic view.

The Park Hyatt Bangkok is an excellent property. The service was understated, anticipatory and genuine. Our suite was a perfect blend between comfort and design, the F&B world class and the location is perfect.

Our only complaint was an early morning flight which meant we didn’t have enough time on property. We’ll rectify that on our next trip to the City of Angels. This is a hotel which begs you to sleep in and relax.
