The Grand Hyatt Taipei is perfectly located in the city’s Xinyi District, connected to the iconic Taipei 101, is linked to the Taipei World Trade Center, the Taipei International Convention Center and the Exhibition Halls, is close to City Hall and right in the middle of the city’s vibrant shopping and commercial area.
It’s huge property with 850 guest rooms and suites. Including the Grand Club it has 12 different food and beverage outlets ranging from formal to casual, Chinese to Western and everything in between.
Our Grand Suite King was about 645 square feet with Taiwanese design accents and local inspirations in the decor.
It features a large living room and comfortable work area, along with 2 bathrooms, walk in closet and ample bedroom.
The layout is elegant and yet vey efficient. The bedroom is quiet, the living area is great for entertaining and the two bathrooms are a huge plus when having work colleagues over.
The main bathroom features a walk in shower and oversized tub, while the smaller one was just a 2 piece, but well located near the front entrance.
The living room flows seamlessly from a work area to a large oversized couch and chairs, perfect for watching the large screen TV or catching up with friends or associates.
This is a suite which is perfect for a couple at leisure or a person hard at work having meetings.
The Grand Club Lounge on the 22nd floor is typical for an Asian Grand Hyatt. It offered an excellent breakfast, all day snacks and drinks and hors d’oeuvres and cocktails in the evening from a generous 5:30 to 8:00 pm.
Although it was always busy they kept the food fresh and the service levels high. The lounge also has nice views of Taipei 101 and the city.
Taipei is one of our favourite cities in Asia which is full of great sites and cultural opportunities and great culinary experiences. The Grand Hyatt Taipei is the perfect jumping off point. It combines elegance with authenticity and luxury with a causal flair.
The suite was a welcomed amenity as a World of Hyatt Globalist. We have always found this property to be very good to loyal customers and generous with upgrades.
The Grand Hyatt Taipei is a great choice in a great city.
