Wellness travel is no longer just about booking a spa treatment. Increasingly, it is becoming part of how travellers experience a destination itself.
That idea will be on display across Vietnam from Sept. 18-20, when Fusion marks World Wellness Weekend 2026 with complimentary activities ranging from sunrise yoga and sound baths to hot springs, kayaking, beach cleanups, healthy cooking and community initiatives.
The programs will take place across Fusion properties in coastal destinations, mountain settings and major cities, extending the brand’s “wellness-inclusive” philosophy beyond traditional spa treatments and into movement, food, nature, mindfulness and local connection.
At Fusion Resort & Villas Da Nang, the three-day program will unfold beside the sea with sunrise grounding, guided breathwork, mindful movement, partner yoga, yoga nidra, aerial yoga and Fusion’s floating sound bath.
From morning through sunset, the emphasis will be on slowing down and reconnecting through movement, breath, sound and stillness.
Alba Wellness Valley by Fusion is taking an especially community-focused approach under the theme “Wellness for All. Wellness by All.” Every scheduled activity will be free for guests, resort employees and members of the local community.
The program begins Sept. 18 with a charity initiative supporting the Hue Hope Center. Sept. 19 will feature Alba Wellness yoga, crystal singing bowl meditation, tai chi in the bamboo forest and outdoor activities including ziplining, highwire adventures and hot springs.
The final day adds zumba, a breathing workshop, Tibetan sound bath therapy and afternoon hot spring relaxation.

Farther south, Fusion Resort Cam Ranh will combine relaxation with sustainability and a little competition.
Guests can begin the day with tai chi on the beach, take part in herbal poultice and foot massage workshops, or join kids yoga, guided sound-bowl meditation and yoga balance sessions.
A plank challenge will bring resort staff and members of the local community together, with prizes for the winners. On Sept. 19, the resort will also stage “Make Your Beach Beautiful,” a beach-cleaning initiative that links personal wellbeing with care for the surrounding environment.
At The Ocean Resort by Fusion Quy Nhon, wellness becomes more active.
Guests can play tennis and beach volleyball, kayak, try stand-up paddleboarding or cycle through the surrounding countryside.
Yoga beside the resort’s pond and singing-bowl sound healing will be offered on Sept. 19 and 20. Guests booking a one-bedroom villa will also receive 45 minutes of spa therapy per guest each day, along with complimentary access to tennis courts, bicycles and water sports throughout the three-day weekend.
Fusion Suites Sai Gon is bringing the concept into the middle of Ho Chi Minh City with a more urban reset.
Its program combines family-friendly yoga and mindful breathing with a wellness-focused breakfast featuring fresh salads, brown rice and three detox drinks.
At Fusion Suites Vung Tau, complimentary activities for guests and the local community will include Sivananda yoga, breathing exercises, hand massage and workshops making herbal sachets, herbal foot-soak salts and scented candles using natural ingredients.
The wellness theme there will also have a charitable component, with proceeds from herbal sachets and foot-soak salts sold during the workshops donated to charity.
In Hue, the recently opened Grand Royal Riverside Hue – Fusion Collection will offer healthy cooking classes, morning stretching and jogs along the Perfume River.
Throughout September, guests can also experience the Sa Wellness Ritual and a specially curated Healthy Dining program.
The World Wellness Weekend activities come as several Fusion properties receive international recognition for their wellness programs.

Fusion Resort & Villas Da Nang, Fusion Resort Cam Ranh, Alba Wellness Valley by Fusion and The Ocean Resort by Fusion Quy Nhon have all received Wellness Hero 2026 recognition, while Maia Spa at Fusion Suites Vung Tau earned the Wellness Champion designation from World Wellness Weekend.
Taken together, the programs reflect a broader shift in wellness travel.
A wellness holiday no longer has to mean disappearing into a treatment room for several days. It can mean yoga beside the sea, cycling through the countryside, soaking in a hot spring, cleaning a beach or starting the morning with a run beside the Perfume River.
In Vietnam this September, Fusion is making wellness less of an add-on to the trip and more a part of the journey itself.
