If you prefer a more secluded trip away then Lake Cuyamaca might just be the place for you. Around 110 acres of pure lake and activities such as bird watching, boating, and picnicking, you’re bound to find the perfect pass time so that you can relax. There are camping sites available, but you could opt for the Julian Cabins if you’re not really the camping type. Don’t forget to take your fishing line for the perfect chilled week away!

Looking for something that will keep the kids entertained and also educate them? Why not take them to the San Diego Zoo Safari Park where they can see a plethora of unusual animals that they wouldn’t have had the chance to see otherwise! If your children have a preference in types of animals, you can arrange particular safaris to go on so that they’re having the time of their lives and also learning loads of new cool facts about the animals!

4. Midway Museum

Fancy something completely different to change up your trip completely? Why not opt for an overnight adventure at the midway museum, where you’ll be able to spend the night on the longest serving aircraft carrier in history, and get to sleep in beds like the sailors did.
